Zenith 8-S-531

Somewhat rare Zenith large tabletop radio. Not many of this model were made, between 1000 and 6000. Very nice condition. All original knobs. Completely restored and has a 10" speaker for loud volume and great sound. Same chassis as the console. Beautiful cabinet with Burl highlights.

  • One of the first FM radios ever made

  • RCA plug in the back to take mono audio input, from head phone of cell phone, CD etc.

  • Made by Norelco for the Grange League Federation (GLF). GLF was a farm collective formed in upstate NY that operated a series of FM stations to serve the farming community 

  • Bakelite case in good condition (crack on left lower corner)

  • Original knobs and back, replacement grill cloth
