Ways to enjoy your radio

Antique radios take us back to a nostalgic time when families gathered around to relax at the end of the day. They would get in touch with each other and listen to stories on the radio. By tuning into these programs, you can to experience the past and touch the world in which our grandparents lived.

You can connect audio media to your antique radio via the audio input we've installed. You can play radio dramas and music using your tablet, CDs and other devices such as Alexa, or your phone, and play content from the internet. There is an app called Radio Garden that shows thousands of FM stations around the world. They're displayed on a globe on your phone, you can select them by clicking on little green dots, and you can rotate the globe to find any FM station you want to play. It's really cool. You will need WiFi for this to work.

Below is an old audio chromecast blue-tooth transmitter and tablet I used with several apps in the past for audio and radio drama shows.

Beanpod is an app that organizes your music and radio drama apps. Each of the pictures opens to pages of radio dramas.

This is page two of the radio drama apps I've downloaded and put into Beanpod.

Google produces chromecast audio as a high fidelity audio device you can stream audio to from your WiFi connection. To operate it must be connected to WiFi.
